  1. Finance: Bank of England Rates
    UK interests rates cut to 4.5%!

    Pro Tip: This is a big deal for financial institutions, it means saving is likely to decrease, and investment and consumption may likely increase. This could also cause inflation. How will this affect your firm?

  2. Tech: Majorana 1 Chip

    Microsoft creates chip to revolutionise quantum technology. It can transform data encryption, complex problems, classical computers, etc. Commercial viability is expected in coming years.

    Pro Tip: Talk about the exciting prospects of quantum tech, and how it can be used to process large amounts of data, being incredibly beneficial for (blank) firm!

  3. Engineering: AI in Infrastructure
    Advancements in AI in engineering have been breakthroughs.
    Pro Tip: Talk about how this could enhance project management, resource optimisation and better sustainability. Will this help your firm?

  4. Law: Private Credit Boom

    Legal demand is significantly increased, law firms expected to expand services to non-lenders.

    Pro Tip: Talk about the dynamic adaptation of law to different industries, linking to your key value of adaptability, which you wish to reflect at X firm.

Using real world news in your interviews is a major plus for your interviews. It shows you are proactive, competent and aware of important events in your given industry. You can reply to this email for these news sources.
